It was designed to help the Allies crack the Germans’ infamous “Lorenz” code. The cigar is named after this history-making endeavor as well as a reference to its vitola (size).

Casdagli when he was a Prisoner of War during WWII. The major was the grandfather of Jeremy Casdagli, who is the owner of Casdagli cigars.
