A full-bodied and potent but not overwhelming smoke that delivers rich earthy, woody, and peppery notes accented with a delectable molasses sweetness. Its dark, savory Nicaraguan wrapper shrouds a Connecticut-grown binder and premium Nicaraguan and Brazilian Mata Fina filler leaves. Prior to rolling the binder's leaves were carefully aged in authentic Weller Bourbon barrels, which adds a soothing oaky flavor to the cigar's profile. Once rolled, each cigar is nested inside a specially designed aluminum tube to lock-in its flavors and protect the cigar.  The Weller by Cohiba Toro Tubo 2023 was produced in collaboration with the makers of Weller bourbon, which is a smooth, balanced bourbon that has been aged for 12 years. The cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic.

  The Weller by Cohiba is a potent yet flavorful premium cigar whose blend was created in collaboration with the makers of Weller 12 Year Bourbon, which is a smooth, balanced wheated bourbon. The cigar is blended using a filler made of Nicaraguan leaves from Esteli and Ometepe combined with Dominican Piloto Cubano tobacco. This awesome blend is then sheathed by a Habano-seed Connecticut binder and a Honduran maduro wrapper that has been aged for seven years. Once rolled, the cigar is placed in glass tubes to preserve the flavor. The Weller by Cohiba is handmade in Honduras.

While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

  USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco is grown in the Connecticut River Valley area. The soil in this region is of glacial origins. The tobacco is dark, oily, flavorful, and aromatic. It is used primarily as a maduro wrapper, but it also serves as an excellent binder.

  Brazil Mata Fina

  Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
  Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. Mata Fina tobacco is grown in a region in the Reconcavo Basin of the State of Bahia called Mata Fina (which translated means "thin plants"). Tobacco was one of the natural crops in the region.
