Its smooth, light-brown Mexican San Andres wrapper cloaks a Cameroon wrapper and a filler composed of Mexican San Andres, Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli Ligero leaves. The cigar’s exquisite wrapper comes from tobacco grown in Veracruz, Mexico in a region known as Valle Verde (Green Valley). This area is ideal for growing tobacco due to its cool climate and fertile volcanic soil. The Partagas Valle Verde is a well-balanced cigar that is regarded for its deep complexity and refined smoothness. The cigars are handmade in Honduras.

  The Partagas Valle Verde cigar line marks the first time the storied Partagas brand has released a cigar using the much sought-after San Andres wrapper from the Veracruz region of Mexico. The region is referred to as Valle Verde (or Green Valley), and it is recognized for its cooler climate and nutrient rich volcanic soil, which serves as the ideal environment for growing tobacco. The tobacco for Valle Verde’s light-brown wrapper was harvested in 2020. It is expertly placed over a shade grown Cameroon binder, harvested in 2015, and a blend of Mexican San Andres, Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli Ligero, harvested in 2020, filler leaves. The Valle Verde cigar offers a complex, balanced and smooth smoking indulgence. The cigars are handmade in Honduras.

Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
