Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cigars
|In 1903 Pepin Rodriguez Fernandez, bought the "Romeo y Julieta" factory. Pepin worked hard to promote his enterprise and succeeded largely. After the Cuban embargo, the brand disappeared from the American market. Benjamin Menendez took over the task of making and promoting the Dominican version, currently made at Tabacalera de Garcia by Altadis. Romeo y Julieta 1875 is today the best selling premium brand in the US. It has been rated 92 by Cigar Aficionado.

mary l. 07/17/2013 View Details The cigars were not my usual enjoyable smoking pleasure. They didnot have the quality as the Casa Reys that I was accustomed to. This was not your fault I will stick with my favorite cigar in the future. Thanks
Bill C. 07/12/2013 View Details I switched from the Macanudo Ascot because of it inconsistency in Draw and Burn. I found that 1 to 3 per tin were not smokeable. The Romeo's are much better and more consistent.
In addition, Neptune has been very responsive with there orders and the freshness of the cigars.
Carlos F. 05/24/2013 View Details Not bad. The taste is not all that great.

William G. 10/01/2011 View Details I like this cigar. However, the last one I had, had an uneven burn, and the taste was not as complex as I expected. However, this is a solid cigar and I would buy it again.
Wayne G. 09/29/2011 View Details This is my kind of cigar. Have yet to buy one that doesn't have a great draw and good burn. Smooth taste and pleasing aroma. Excellent smoke when I'm relaxing on the deck.
