The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre Brave cigar is blended and handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Kelner Boutique Factory. The Brave cigar line is named after Marshal Michel Ney who served under Napoleon. For his valor in battle, Ney was given the moniker of “Le Brave des Braves,” by Napoleon himself.

  The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre cigar line was inspired by the generals who valiantly served under Napolean Bonaparte. Besides being fearless leaders and known for wielding their sabers in battle, the generals were fond of cigars. The blend and flavor profile for the cigars were meticulously crafted to capture the leadership and fighting spirit of these military leaders. The cigars are masterfully hand crafted at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

  Established in 2012, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) was founded in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner, Jr., who is the son of Hendrick “Henke” Kelner, Davidoff’s Master Blender. KBF manufactures cigars for Casdagli Cigars (formerly known as Bespoke Cigars). They also produce the Smoking Jacket Cigars, which is their own brand.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
