This medium to full bodied cigar is made by Reyes Family Cigars in Honduras with Nicaraguan filler and binder and Ecuador wrapper.

  Reyes Family Cigars, Inc. (formerly known as Puros Indios Cigars) was founded by Cuban master blender Rolando Reyes, Sr. (1924-2012), who created the popular Cuba Aliados brand in the 1970s. The factory is located in Danli, Honduras, but the company also employs rollers in Miami, Florida for some of their limited production cigars. Today, the company is run by Rolando Reyes Sr.'s grandson.

  Habana 2000 or H2000, is a hybrid between El Corojo, Cuba's standard wrapper leaf last cultivated in the 90s, and a cigarette tobacco called Bell 61-10. Cuban cigar growers crossed these two tobaccos in order to get a wrapper leaf that would be more resistant to disease than the Corojo was. Although its introduction was controversial and the leaf was not widely accepted, its quality has improved over time and it is now being cultivated with success outside of Cuba as well.
