NeptuneCigar.com Hi Mike, that's an interesting question. It can be hard to find an infused cigar that is not sweet. We would recommend the Papas Fritas. It is close in size and has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, but it does not have the infusion that the Acid line has.

NeptuneCigar.com All the cigars in the Acid Blue line are infused with the same oils and herbs, so they do taste the same. However, the size of the cigar may alter the taste as larger ring gauges allow for more smoke and smaller ring gauges will have more concentrated smoke.

??beware: infused! ?? The presentation for this one is sleek as it comes in a clear glass test-tubo. The aroma is potent from the infusion, and instantly assaults the nostrils. Wrapper leaf was relatively uniform, although there's several elongated veins. The band is a major drawback to me, as it feels dated and needs an aesthetic refresh to bring it out of the 90's. Theres a closed foot which is a nice touch. Enough yapping let's shut up & cut up! Went with a vcut. Pre-lit draw is decent, there's a sweetened cap which has some prickly spiciness akin to a spiced rum. The aroma is pungent spicy potpourri. First third I noticed it was a decent draw, producing dense smoke. Once past the closed foot it blossomed. Flavor profile is an array of unique herbal notes and botanicals. Proprietary secret blend, but really calls to mind a spiced rum. The Dr Pepper of cigars. The smoke is dense and smooth. Creamy and essentially an incense stick. The finish leaves a lingering caramelized sweetness across the palate and lips. The burnline was crisp, and the ash was ridiculously tight like a bank-rolled stack of dimes. The remainder of the experience was more of the same although in the final third, while it could be palate fatigue it started to simply smoke like a Connecticut. Overall it's a delight if you're into a flavor and aroma bomb. Those herbs and spices dance across the senses. Is it traditional? Not a chance. Is it trying to be? Definitely not. The burn alone was the showstopper with this one, a real stage-5 clinger...you basically have to tell it to let go..pictures don't do it justice! Will certainly pick it up again when I'm feeling frisky and in the mood for an infused. Spent an enjoyable 90 minutes with it.

Didn’t know what to expect from this cigar. Quality and construction are good. Aside from the sweetness of the wrapper it has aromas and flavours of cloves and mild spices. Definitely different than anything else I’ve smoked in the past. Not something I’d smoke everyday but is very enjoyable when you want something different.

Not having luck today. This one has like a 15% draw. I had to pierce the heck out of. Burn was very crooked but got it straightened out 2nd 3rd. I saw good reviews but wasn’t my experience. Much better performing ones in this price range. RH 71, temp 68. Wrapper also tried to come apart. I made it thru 2/3 because why were twelve bucks. Next!

These cigars looked cool, unfortunately however, most of them had an after taste that I didn't not like. The after taste was nearly immediate after lighting the cigar and with each draw. My wife’s favorite! Great flavored stick. Great draw and great second hand smoke. Its herbal flowery flavor keep you coming back for more. My only complaint is it doesn’t burn evenly at times and need lighting adjustments while smoking it down to finish.

Very nice display in a good looking wooden box. These are all the larger sticks and all smoke pretty well; and better than the smaller ACID varieties. They tend to be packed a little more loosely than “regular” cigars, which means a faster smoke and sometimes a weird burn (not the best in windy conditions like the beach). The aroma and taste on these are pleasant and not harsh or “chemically”; with each being a little different. Even non-smokers who don’t appreciate the smoke from a good cigar (like a Monte White or an AF 8-5-8 Cameroon) will appreciate catching a wiff of these. The tastes in this sampler vary, with some smoking sweeter and some seeming more like potpourri. I got these during a promotion, so 25% off, which made them worth the money. Otherwise, these are more typically a little too expensive to justify the purchase. That said, I always find a way to keep a small assortment of these in my humidor, along with the other infused brands I like (CI Legends; Isla Del Sol - any size; KFC by DE - toros or smaller rings).

Um.... NO! Never tried these. Thought "sweet" was like "chocolatey" wine. Uh uh. These are drenched in some kind of sweetener. It stays on your lips and overwhelms the smoke. I found it disgusting. I guess it is popular, but it's not for me. I might like it if it was a mild bourbon flavor or something, but I think it is more akin to drenched in saccharine. I'm giving the rest of them away.

My first cigar a year ago was the Blondie. I switched to non-infused cigars shortly after. Today I tried a Blondie Belicoso. I thought it would be terrible after a year of smoking regular Connecticut cigars, but I loved it! It may even be my favorite now. Great presentation or gift cigar. Draw was perfect and burn was good did need a couple minor touch ups but no issues at all. I rarely smoke infused and don’t like the kuba kuba this one was similar but seemed to have less infusion of the potpourri taste much lighter also was super smooth so if you like acid blue line you will prob love this one and if you don’t it’s still not a bad one to try or to have on hand

I have had people actually comment on the aroma stating it has a great smell.tomit. This isn't something that I smoke everyday or very often but I do keep my humidor stocked with a few since everybody's likes are different and these are very good overall.

Smelling the cigar before lighting up, there was a nice spicy aroma to it. The wrapper is sweet, and after lighting it, the smoke that came off it was sweet too, as well as having that hint of spiciness to it. I couldn't tell what spices are in this cigar but they were nice and mixing in with the sweetness with a little bit of a bite on the tongue. The one I smoked had a slightly uneven burn which was easy enough to fix. The construction is good, firm as opposed to very firm, like, for example the Larutan English or the Rough Riders. My only real complaint is that it's a little short, at 5inches. The combination of the sweet and spicy works really well, a bit like salted caramel, or vanilla ice cream with balsamic vinegar. The spiciness increases as you get past the middle of the 2nd/3rd, as the sweetness fades a little. The aroma is really great from beginning to end.

Beautiful butterscotch colored wrapper, was a bit skeptical about the draw as I don't generally like torpedo shaped cigars. The draw was amazing though and burned evenly all the way down. Ash held on for a good 2 inches before I liberated it. That Blondie flavor and aroma is one of a kind and something that takes me back in time. If only they were cheaper... :(

My process: 1. Smell the cigar 2. Cut and lip the tip 3. Dry puff taste 4. Roast the tip of the cigar, no direct flame. Light cigar and take a few initial puffs. Take it in. 5. Smoke cigar. 6. Reflect The initial smell of this cigar is smooth and sweet. Almost creamy. The tip is sweet. I find that cigars with a sweet tip have a taste that falls on a spectrum between stevia at one end (which I hate) and honey at the other end (which I love). Standard white sugar might fall somewhere in the middle (sweet without a distinct "flavor"). The sweetness on the tip of this cigar falls right in the middle. This was a great smoke that was tasty and smooth throughout. The only negative to be found is that the ash did not have a good structure and fell off unpredictably making a big mess. Other than that, a great stick that I would buy again. Personal rating system to determine if I will rebuy this cigar. awful--not good---fine/okay--good--((very good))--excellent

Really enjoyed the sweetness of the Kuba Kuba on the first 3rd. It went away towards the second third. Unfortunately, mine came with a couple small holes in the body of the cigar that I had trouble patching. So I can't say how the draw is on a normal occasion, but Im sure its good.

I had smoked some Regular Blue Blondies before and thought they were pretty good however, I like to smoke a bigger sized cigar so when I saw these Blondie Belicosos I was ready to give them a spin. Amazing how the size difference makes the cigar tastes different. This was a great, smoke, creamy smoke and it lasted longer than 15 minutes! If you like the regular Blondies, this one takes it to another level!

The Acid Blue (Remi) Kuba Maduro is a good stick if you just want a cigar to help you unwind after a long day. The dark, USA Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper was a little on the veiny side, but it did not affect the smoking. The cold draw was effortless. This Acid’s construction was firm with a little give. Once lit, the Acid Blue Kuba Maduro took me on a sweet, mellow trip with notes of chocolate and a slight heightened sense of spice. It was blissful. The retro-hale was a little peppery. The draw was smooth. It hardly felt like I was smoking a cigar. The first third started mild, but as the Kuba entered the second and final third, it picked up in strength. However, it never passed medium. The ash had a nice contrasting black and white look to it. The only slight bummer of this Acid trip was the burn. It started to canoe in the first third, but it straightened itself without having to cut to retouch it. Overall, if you’re looking for a smoke that is nice and easy, I suggest you tune in and lit up an Acid Blue (Remi) Kuba Maduro.

Very enjoyable cigar and loved the bellicoso shape. The size is perfect - took me about 45 minutes to finish, paired well with a Mojito and a Charles Bronson classic throwback. Aroma: very pleasant with Drew Estate's unique blend Gauge: Perfect for a nice fat cigar, yet at 5' it won't take forever to finish Taste: Sweet tip; my recommendation don't cut too much off with your guillotine cutter, maybe just enough to leave a 1/8 size hole. First 1/3 great, light smooth, lots of smoke enhanced by an easy draw. At 2/3 of the way taste is really kicking in. By last 1/3rd its a strong tobacco taste and the cigar its telling me its time to wrap up. I took the binder off, i don't care what any "afficionado" says because I paid for it.

Delicious, fun, aromatic (not potpourri) big ol' fat 'gar. The taste was very enjoyable, the construction and burn very good, and pairs well with a glass of cognac in my opinion. I would get a 6' or longer for next one since most people keep the band on, i tend to take the band off and smoke it to the last inch or so.

I should have tried one of these before purchasing a full box. I am a huge fan of the 1400cc. After doing some online research, the general consensus is / was they are the same cigar. They are not the same cigar. While there is no doubt when smoking a 1400cc you are smoking an infused cigar, you are not overwhelmed by it like you are with the kuba kuba.

This was the first Acid cigar I've tried. It has a very sweet taste to it, almost perfumy. It's a little too sweet for my taste, but it is a very mild cigar and probably great for a first time smoker. I had to touch it up a couple of times but overall it burned really well.

I smoked a Blondie with the light wrapper and found the taste a little light, so wanted to try the maduro wrapper. Was everything I wanted taste-wise, really enjoyed it. I downgraded my "Burn" rating because of the two I had, one burned perfectly even, the second burned unevenly, faster through the center, leaving the wrapper unburned until the heat reached the wrapper from inside and started turning it black in the middle of the cigar. I will try these again.

I had one of these in a sampler and ordered a couple more. Consistent Acid quality for appearance and draw. Taste is very light. Has the typical Acid sweetness on the wrapper and aromatic smoke. Smokes a little hot due to the short length, but smoked judiciously can give you a nice 20 minute break.

Enjoyed this sampler, I had a Kuba Kuba and wanted to try more of the Acid brand. They are high-quality cigars in terms of construction, draw, burn, smoke etc. Most have a characteristic sweet taste on the wrapper which is pleasant. Not sure I am a fan of the "infused" flavors compared to regular cigars but maybe a nice change-of-pace cigar. They are on the mild-to-medium spectrum and the slightly sweet wrapper makes them good to share with an occasional smoker. The cigarillos are a five-minute smoke, skinnier than cigarettes but true tiny rolled cigars. Acid would not be my everyday smoke but thumbs up for the sampler and overall quality!

ill say this...I couldn't finish this Cigar. thankfully I only purchased three, so I have two gifts to give now. if you like a bottle of perfume dumped into your sweet tea...then smoke this. I found the infusion and sweet cap overpowering and basically horrible. I will not be purchasing these again.

Have always been a fan of the Acid Kuba Kuba so i decided to try the other colors. I enjoyed some of them but i did notice a few were poorly "assembled" they broke apart after being cut. Was not impressed, but well worth the money!

Probably one of the better flavored cigars out there. The construction is very good, easy to light and an excellent draw. Every one in a while the burn is a little skewed but generally it burns evenly. You can leave it in the ashtray, go get a cup of coffee come back and it will still be lit! The flavor is sweet and intriguing but it is not a cigar that you would want to smoke constantly rather It fits in quite well in between those longer, stronger smokes.

It's a different kind of Cigar than what I'm used to no which are all natural. But I've actually been drawn to Acids flat, sweet cigars in which I liked and bought quite a few. But I found it quite pricy for a flavored Cigar, on the other hand, I can tell when sweet tobacco meets quality tobacco and it is nice to have a quality sweetened tobacco, instead of that garbage out there .

This is an exceptional cigar, even better than the Kuba Kuba because it lasts longer! The aroma and flavor are spicy and potpourri-like, with a black-peppery zing on the finish. I'm not a huge fan of the sweetened cap, which has an overwhelming syrupy, palm sugar flavor for the first third. ACID cigars have a great flavor of their own and don't really need artificial sweetness. That said, this is still a really, really good cigar and I'd highly recommend it.

Don't let the square shape fool you this is one smooth and strong smoke in the style of the Acid Blue, Just make sure to have a cigar punch or ya will have a square peg round hole situation and that leads to a uneven burn

Don't get me wrong they taste great but I just don't find myself constantly wanting one like I would a normal cigar. Make sure you abosolutley love these before buying a box. I would buy singles all day long tho

Most Kuba Kubas have been fantastic. A great flavored smoke, great with coffee in the mornings. Unfortunately, some (not all) of the cigars have tunneled right in the middle; they can have bad coring that leads to the whole cigar being ruined in seconds. Otherwise, these are great.

Myself, love these cigar. I had this first time tonight. I smoked so many different cigars. this will be my # 3 mini cigars! Will be back mor for this. Taste so sweet when u tongue taste on the wrapper! I normally taste it before I cut the top! Sweet!, easy to cut. smooth smoke draw.... looks impressed to me when I first open it, fresh, sweet, aroma - just love it. the only thing I have little setback when u light it up, not burning even, ash fall right off fast! I LOVE to keep ash on as LONG as possible! Overall it is 4 1/2 star for THIS set of cigar, will recommend it to these who likes just only spend around 25 -30 min smoke this like myself!

Very honestly, I know nothing about the "draw, burn, or taste" of these cigars as I always buy them for my husband and son. However, I can tell you the aroma is amazing! I love to sit up-wind of my husband when he is smoking one because I truly enjoy the smell. It's absolutely wonderful! Also, I can tell you that these are the only cigars they smoke, other than trying different types of the Acid Blue, and they sinply love them. So, why spend money on something they may not enjoy? That would be foolish when they truly enjoy smoking the Acid 1400.

I bought this cigar based on all the reviews and positive things I heard. I'm not a fan of flavored cigars and found that out quickly when I smoked the Kuba Kuba tonight. Beautiful locking cigar and flawless performance but not for me. The infused flavored were too much for me and I had to put it out after about 15 minutes of smoking.

I love the Kuba Kuba. It's mellow, tastes great and I always get in a really nice mood smoking one. Kids been acting up, car's broken down, and your partner been giving you a hard time...well, in the evening, sit down with a glass of preferred drink and smooth everything out with a Kuba. Then, you'll realize, after a while, that you're after all quite a lucky person to have kids and a partner which you love, and at least you have a car...many people in world don't, you know? Every thumb I have is up for this one! :D

I'm sad to I was quite disappointed with this one. The sweet wrapper is there, allright. But probably since the cigar is so think, it takes over. And the mix in tastes - sweet wrapper and a bit acidic tobacco - makes it taste a little bit like...barf. :( It's also hard to make it burn evenly. It looks nice, but I don't think it is.

Although I never thought I would like a "flavored" cigar most of the Acid brands I tried I liked. I have bought the Blondie for a few years - usually by the box.
