Puros Indios Viejos

Viejo means "old" in Spanish and in the case of this cigar, it refers to its vintage 1999 blend of tobaccos from Dominican Republic, Brazil and Nicaragua. It also refers to the old fashioned way these cigars are produced, in the factory of cigar legend Rolando Reyes Sr., who has been 70 years in the cigar industry from Cuba to Honduras. After the cigars are rolled using vintage tobaccos, they are aged for four years more before being sent to the stores. This is a mild to medium, creamy and delicious treat to be enjoyed by those who appreciate the tradition and loving care that goes into producing such unique cigars. This cigar was featured in Cigar Aficionado's Top Fifty Cigars of 2006 and was rated 91 (Outstanding).
