The Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 Perfecto is a limited collection because the cigar uses a rare 1997 Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. This odd shaped 6 inch by 49 ring figurado is tapered on both ends, with a band on the foot and a metal ring at the top that doubles as a cigar holder. The Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 is both rich and smooth, with some spice due to the Nicaraguan, Brazilian and Dominican filler blend, topped with a strong Honduran binder.

Don't let the metal ring put you off, this cigar is wonderfully creamy and smooth, all the way from foot to head. I'm not a maduro fan, but I'll definitely get a few more of these.
