Padron Ratings
The Padron Series cigars are handmade in Nicaragua with Nicaraguan fillers, binders, and wrappers. As recently as 2008, Padron 6000 scored a 91 rating from Cigar Aficionado. From the October issue, they say that "it is a profoundly leathery smoke, full of savory, meaty flavors with a sweet leather note on the finish."
