Just got finished with my first specimen. It's a peculiar cigar; definitely strong as advertised, but with a subdued flavor. Each draw carried the concentrated essence of a Tennessee smoke barn. Our county is reputed to be the foremost producer of dark-fired tobacco in the United States, so I suppose the best way I could describe this is that "it tastes like Fall". Dried Autumn leaves merge with earthy aromas and mild spices. Reminds me of home and that's a good thing, I reckon. Akin to an old rusty tractor, I had to restart it a few times, but it's nonetheless dependable.

I have not had great luck with Joya sticks. This simply would not stay lit. Draw was ok. It was the tastiest Joy I have tried….when it was lit. I’ll try one more of these and hope the construction is better.

Good cigar and very good value. Stronger than the Antano 1970 but not as strong as I expected (and not a 6/5 per Joya website). Glad I tried but wish there were some brighter flavors to counter the dark ones
