Description
A medium-bodied cigar with a creamy, spicy, and sweetness profile. Its barber pole wrapper sports an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf entwined with an Ecuadorian Habano leaf. Underneath this eye-catching wrapper is a Nicaraguan binder and a Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Twisted adds a “new twist” to this classic cigar that will appeal to the traditional as well as the contemporary aficionado.

It’s not fabulous but I enjoyed this smoke. My only issue was a tight draw until the whole ring lit up. Unlike other smokers, I do notice a subtle yet apparent change in flavor profile with this barber pole. As the Connecticut wrapper transitions to the habano wrapper, the mildly nutty sweet cream flavor picks up a chocolate note. It’s not as complex as its bigger brothers, but it’s a small figurado and for a 45 min burn I thought it was fairly priced. Will smoke again.

Short story more of a break up.?? Really tight draw that opens after you finally get it lit. Decent construction.Mine was not a much like the barber pole pictures online. Burn....it took some effort to get this going. I've never had to struggle with a perfecto until this one. Yes it is more of a perfecto than a petit corona. ??Good aroma toast, spice, and nuts. Taste of cedar, cinnamon, slight sweet cream note. Decent.

Fairly good cigar, as the other review says flavor is meh

Barber Poles look cool; but with most of them I've never been able to tell much difference between them and their single-wrapper counterparts. Same with this one; to me, it tastes about the same as the regular Reserva Real--if you like that one you should like this. Its flavor is decent; but it's just too mild (bland) for my taste.
