Plasencia’s newest Lunar New Year release stick is as imposing as it is eye-catching. Sizing up at 7 x 58, the Year of the Horse 2026 promises to be a smoke with a lot of horsepower under the hood. The blend features a beautiful Colorado wrapper from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua, a Nicaraguan binder, and two different fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. Under the cap, each cigar comes with a beautifully braided tail, evoking the braided tail seen on many race horses. Plasencia states the profile is complex and rich, with surprising Asian flavors. They report Oak, cumin, cardamom, and dark chocolate as the main tasting notes. 

These cigars come in beautiful 10-count boxes, with an unmistakably Chinese motif, matching their previous Lunar New Year releases. Only 6,000 boxes were shipped, meaning the Plasencia Year of the Horse will undoubtedly be one of the most exclusive releases this holiday season.
