I'm mostly a maduro guy, but I enjoy a nice shade cigar in the morning with my cappuccino as long as it's still a flavorful cigar. It's hard to find shade cigars that are mild-medium but still pack a lot of flavor. The Sobremesa Brulee has been my go-to, but I'm quickly falling in love with this Undercrown shade. It's creamy and nutty, has hints of vanilla and toast. It's simply delicious. Never bitter, which many shade cigars suffer from. Construction is always perfect as you'd expect from Drew Estate. I find myself buying more and more of these.

I cannot believe someone called this cigar pricy

Undercrown Shade — Final Thoughts I’m not a huge Connecticut fan, but this one makes my list. Cinnamon, molasses, and clove over a toasty, woody foundation made it enjoyable and one of the better Connecticut options for my palate.

Stronger than most Connecticut shades and more pepper than usual. Dry roasted nuts, slight creaminess and cereal flavors. Linear throughout in regards to the flavor. Perfect draw, burn, appearance and aroma. For the price, it’s severely underrated. Highly recommend.
