Wow - better than a 2025-2026 cubano. Flawless construction, balanced profile - nothing spectacular. Sweet fragrant aroma. Excellent for the price point.

Full bodied cigar that starts out with a lot of pepper then mellows out nicely during the 2nd and 3rd. First was pepper with hints of earth. Retro hale throughout stings with lots of spice. 2nd and 3rd evens out with more cream pleasing flavors. Smoked to the nub. I enjoyed with with some rum. But won’t be in my rotation.

Nice cigar. Nothing overwhelming about it. Just a nice woody, leathery smoke that occupies a place in your humidor if you like that flavor profile.

Soft/slightly squishy construction, very open draw, super even burn with no touchups needed. Medium bodied with tons of thick, rich and creamy smoke output. Flavors of woodsy cedar and a hint of black pepper without much complexity. Not a bad cigar, but I was expecting more of a punch of flavors.

I love Don Pepin in general but this was meh and the burn line was pretty bad, and needed several touch ups. Glad I tried it, but won't be buying again.

As a huge fan of the blue label I was excited to try this one. Construction was good, draw was a little tight. Flavors were very nutty and slightly sweet with a buttery element. Hardly any spice at all. It's very traditional tasting. I still prefer the bolder flavors of the blue label but this one is worth trying.
