I enjoyed the first half very much, the first third was great, the second still good then it went slightly downhill. I think it's a good cigar, but not worth the price tag or the hype. But it's definitely a good cigar, almost "cubanesque".

these improve over time but there are better at this price

My second Casdagli so far and this one is just a decent smoke. Didn’t live up to its price tag sadly for me.

Really great flavors that some construction issues kind of ruined.

Casdagli is one of my favorite cigar makers. I've loved every cigar I've tried from them...except for this one. I didn't like it at all. The one I smoked had 4 months of rest at ~64%. It was rolled very tight and felt hard as a rock. As such, it had a very tight draw. It started out with a very pronounced bitter note that stayed present throughout the entire cigar with varying intensity. The first third had a subtle citrus note that faded quickly. The rest of the cigar produced (somewhat muted) flavors of cocoa, dark chocolate, bitter coffee bean and a medium amount of spice. The finish was quick and dry. The final third was the only part of the cigar that I found somewhat enjoyable. The overall profile tasted like what I'd describe as generic tobacco. Bland and uninteresting. Very surprising but this is one Casdagli cigar that I would not recommend.

This cigar started out good, then delicious, but got a bit bitter and rough in the final 3rd. Would buy again. My introduction to Casdagli did not disappoint.
