Amazing SMoke

The K by Karen Berger 25th Anniversary by AJ Fernandez was another reminder of why AJ rarely disappoints me. Very promising from the first puffs, it built around a core of roasted coffee, dark cedar and earthy leather before gradually revealing dark raisins and toasted bread. The second third was the highlight, where sweetness and bitterness found a beautiful balance—Karen and AJ coming together. The final third leaned more toward bitterness, yet stayed smooth and never turned dry. Construction was flawless, and the molasses sweetness from the wrapper was a treat in itself. Paired with The Botanist Gin, whose botanicals lifted the darker profile beautifully, it made for a memorable evening.

This was a great smoke, a little bit more then a medium but it hit all the marks except for the but....it was a box square press and I find these to always buys uneven for the first half, but then it kicks in and becomes a delightful smoke, but find the price a bit high....

Very good cigar. Much better than Ixtelli and not surprised given AJ involvement. Flavors include cedar and oak, cinnamon, almonds, honey, maple syrup and raisins, espresso with cream, and cocoa. Solid medium stick. Well done again AJ
