This mild-bodied smoke features a silky smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper on top of a Nicaraguan binder and premium Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Unlike other less flavorful Connecticut-wrapped cigars, the Nestor Miranda Collection Connecticut Gran Toro doesn't skimp on taste, and floods your palate with delicious notes of cedar, almonds and espresso until the very last puff.

  Nestor Miranda Collection was launched to replace the Nestor Miranda Special Selection line. The blue banded Nestor Miranda Collection Connecticut is the same blend as the previous Nestor Miranda Special Selection Connecticut and uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Dominican, Honduran and Nicaragua tobaccos in the filler. The cigars are made by the Garcia family at the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.

Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.

  Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
