Neptune’s Corojo Sampler explores one of the most storied seeds in the cigar world, celebrated for its spice, sweetness, and classic Cuban heritage. Originally cultivated in Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo region, true Corojo gained fame for its peppery kick and aromatic depth. Today it thrives in Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, where each climate adds its own twist, ranging from rustic spice to earthy richness to smooth, refined sweetness.

This sampler highlights the famed Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, named “Habano” because the seeds originate from Cuban, or Habana, tobacco strains. In Ecuador’s cloud-covered valleys, these Cuban-seed plants thrive in rich volcanic soil, producing smooth, oily leaves with depth and consistency. Expect flavors of (but not limited to) earth, cedar, gentle sweetness, and varying levels of spices. The natural shade and steady climate of Ecuador make it one of the best regions outside Cuba for cultivating world-class Habano wrappers.
