  San Cristobal Ovation is a 2015 limited edition cigar crafted by the legendary Pepin Garcia for Ashton Cigars. Only 3,000 boxes made of this decadent full bodied smoke hand rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua. Features a dark and lustrous San Andres Oscuro wrapper that has been fermented for 2.5 years. All Ovation tobaccos are grown on Garcia family land and aged for an extensive period. A proprietary selection of Corojo, Habano and Criollo leaves make up the double binder and filler, with an extra kick provided by a rare, Esteli-grown Criollo-seed Ligero.

The "Garcia Family Industrial Park" located in Esteli, Nicaragua is a seven-acre complex with 9 buildings, over 1900 employees, where the Garcias supervise their cigar production from the tobacco field to the roller's table. Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. San Andres Maduro is a thick, medium bodied dark leaf, also called San Andres Morron. Like Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres Maduro is stalk cut and used for binder and wrapper.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
