The Alec Bradley American Sun Grown cigar is a similar blend to the popular Alec Bradley American Classic, with one distinction: the wrapper is a Nicaraguan Habano from the Jalapa region that is set to impart more body and spice to the all-Nicaraguan blend. The sun grown wrapper is a beauty, dark brown and oily, and the cigar draws and burns perfectly with flavors of mild pepper, leather and chocolate. The American Sun Grown is a very well constructed smoke at a low price.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

I so want to like these but every time the draw is always tight. I have had multiple vitolas and every one has a tight draw. Nice flavours and price just let down by the draw.

This cigar is excellent sharp burn very flavorful with just enough of a punch I love the flavor transitions in this stick it starts off with a nice woodsy earthy twang with just the right amount of pepper to round everything out then comes a nice creaminess with some baking spices that i can't quite make out that develop into a chocolatey espresso that Intensifies throughout the smoke still keeping just a little bit of bite to round everything out I would definitely buy this cigar again

As less expensive cigars go, this was a fair smoke, but I have actually been more impressed by others which are about half the price, like Flor de Oliva, and Quorum. So, I wouldn’t consider this a very good value. I expected something more from Alec Bradley.

Very, very good cigar for me. Rich, deep flavors that are smooth and bold. Doesn't have a ton of pepper. I get an hour and a half or so out of it and the burn is pretty good. Needs some touch-ups after the first half, but it's a pretty oily and thick wrapper so I'm neither surprised nor bothered. Fantastic value, definitely box-worthy.

I believe I have found a new favorite. Aside from needing an occasional touchup to achieve a really good, even burn, I can find no fault with this cigar. It is Ideal for those special times where indulgence is called for and does not disappoint any of the senses. I only wish I could afford to smoke these on a daily basis. Maybe if I win one of the lotteries............?
