CAO Amazon Basin

CAO has traveled where no other cigarmaker has traveled before to bring you the CAO Amazon Basin, a cigar made with rare tobacco from Braganca, a remote region in the Amazon forest. The tobacco is harvested only once every three year and undergoes six months of natural fermentation in the rainforest. Then, they are transported out of the forest by canoe to the mainland, where they are taken to CAO’s factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The tobacco is then blended with tobaccos from five different countries and wrapped in an Ecuadorean Sumatra leaf from the highest primings.
