  • NeptuneCigar.com  The easiest way is with the Boveda One-Step Calibration which can be located on our site. You simply place the hygrometer in the bag and after 24-36 hours you should see a reading of 75%. If not, you will be able to see how many percentage points your hygrometer is off. The other option, which is may yield varying results, is the Salt Test Method. You'll find instructions for this on our site on the articla titled "How to Calibrate Your Hygrometer".

XIKAR PuroTemp Rectangular digital hygrometer has been designed for long term accuracy and minimal maintenance. They accurately display the relative humidity and temperature in your humidor. Min/Max feature displays lowest minimum and highest maximum humidity recorded over the life of the battery or until reset. Features: Accurate to +/- 2% at 70% humidity. Reads humidity in the range of 20% to 95%. Registers temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Measures 2" H x 3.25" W x 0.375" D.
