The Tatuaje Gran Cojonu was released in 2005 as part of a series by Pete Johnson that started in 2003 and is released every few years, with the blend changing with each release. The Cojonu series is a stronger and spicier version of the regular Tatuaje cigars, and the Tatuaje Gran Cojonu is no exception, with its Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper and a blend of first generation Cuban seed Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The cigar is a large 6 1/2 inch by 60 ring toro, which after the initial peppery start that is characteristic of Pepin Garcia's cigars, develops a rich, complex, nutty flavor for a great smoking experience.
