In 1999, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., inspired by his taste for full-bodied cigars introduced the Serie R cigars. Their full-bodied flavor comes from a special blend of long Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, superb Nicaraguan binder and a wonderfully aged and extra flavorful Ecuadoran wrapper. This medium to full bodied Corona Gorda was rated 85 (Very Good to Excellent) in Cigar Aficionado June 2007.
