In 1999, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. decided he wanted to bring something special to his many La Gloria Cubana customers. Packed in dark mahogany, cabinet-style boxes, Serie R cigars deliver their extra-bold bouquet as soon as the box is opened. Full bodied with a sweet finish, this cigar was rated 90 (Outstanding) by Cigar Aficionado which praised the No. 4 for its "dark-roasted coffee flavors and sweet woody notes that carry on to the finish."
