The CAO Pilon is named after the "Pilon,” which is a stack of dried tobacco leaves that is created to begin the process of fermentation. This is an old Cuban method that allows for natural fermentation with maximum flavor and color. The cigar’s silky Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf has been fermented in a pilon. The CAO Pilon Churchill is handmade in Nicaragua.
