The Camacho Corojo, a truly superb tasting and fully aged cigar, has a distinctive flavor recognized by cigar aficionados around the world. Entirely handmade from selected vintage tobaccos, this unique cigar is the only Honduran puro made with Corojo wrapper, binder and filler.
The standard Toro shape is 6 inches by 50 ring.
This cigar is 6"1/2 inches long, or 165.1 mm.
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Cigar Ring Gauge
The cigar ring gauge corresponds to the diameter of a cigar, this cigar has a ring gauge of 54, so his diameter is 54/64 inches or 21.34 mm.
Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Colorado maduro wrapper is milk chocolate brown.
Handmade cigars are completely made by hand from start to finish.
Davidoff Group is a Swiss company with many international subsidiaries. Their impressive portfolio of brands includes legendary cigar brands such as Davidoff, Avo and The Griffin's, made in Santiago, Dominican Republic, as well as Camacho, Baccarat and La Fontana made in the Tabacos Rancho Jamastran factory in Honduras.
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Corojo wrapper was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo wrapper because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo wrapper has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
