This cigar truly stands out in the Camacho Corojo line. Made with 100% Corojo tobacco grown in the Eiroa's farm in Danli, Honduras, the Diploma is a bold, full bodied robusto made with only the best and strongest Corojo leaves of the harvest. Originally made as a private reserve for Christian Eiroa, production of this cigar is very limited. The cigar has a characteristic sweet finish.

Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  Corojo tobacco was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
