Aging Room Small Batch M356
The Aging Room Small Batch M356 is a limited production cigar made by Rafael Nodal of Boutique Blends cigars and Jochi Blanco of Tabacalera La Palma in Dominican Republic. This medium bodied smoke made entirely of Dominican tobaccos is full of spice and complex flavors. In 2011, this brand earned the #16 spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of the year.
The Robusto is a short Churchill size, traditionally 5 to 5.5 inches by a 50 ring gauge.
This cigar is 4"1/2 inches long, or 114.3 mm.
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.
Cigar Ring Gauge
The cigar ring gauge corresponds to the diameter of a cigar, this cigar has a ring gauge of 48, so his diameter is 48/64 inches or 19.05 mm.
Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Natural wrapper, also known as Colorado Claro, is light brown in color.
Handmade cigars are completely made by hand from start to finish.
Tabacalera La Palma
Tabacalera La Palma was founded in 1925 by Jose Arnaldo Blanco, one of the first cigar factories in the Dominican Republic. Currently, the company's CEO is Jochy Blanco, the 4th generation to run the family's business. Located in Tamboril, on the outskirts of Santiago, Dominican Republic, La Palma employs over 300 people and supports independent tobacco growers in the community.
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Habano wrapper leaf is Cuban-seed tobacco that is grown and cultivated in the traditional Cuban way.
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Amazing little cigar, well deserved rating, perfect draw, construction and flavor from to finish with thick smoke.
This is a great cigar, but not for beginners. The filler blend is both spicy and full of black pepper. I gave one to a friend, and he started picking his teeth. I asked what he was doing, and he admitted that he thought there was a piece of black pepper stuck between his teeth. He laughed when I told him it was the stick. Very well made, and a great size for a 60 minute smoke.
Perfect all of the way
Nice smooth smoke with some complexity. Would buy again
I give these cigars a straight up 4 star review. They smoke real nice and taste really good and the price was right.
