Humidor capacity equals the number of cigars that can fit in the humidor. Since cigars vary significantly in size and shape, we use Churchill sized cigars (7" x 50) when calculating humidor capacity. Hygrometers are used to measure the humidity inside your humidor and make sure your cigars are safe at 70% humidity. There are different types: Analog, digital, external, internal, or built-in. Remember to always calibrate your hygrometer before use to make sure the reading is correct.
