San Lotano Habano

The San Lotano Habano cigars are handmade in Esteli, Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez, a third generation cigar maker from Cuba who resurrected his grandfather's brand. The blend is a flavorful Habano wrapper from Brazil, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua. The San Lotano Habano retails for a very attractive price too.

The draw is very Padron-esque and the burn is terrific. The accolades must end there, for me. Its a very one dimensional cigar taste-wise. I was so hoping the cigar would develope through the burn, but it just never would. It reminds me of every Gurkha I've tried. I still want to like this cigar, but I can't...
About: San Lotano Habano Robusto 5" * 54
I had one of these for the first time and smoked it after a couple of days of getting them from Neptune Cigars. Overall a great smoke, deep, rich flavors with plenty of thick smoke. Draw was pretty firm all the way though but produced plenty of rich white smoke. I wouldn't call it smooth but it definitely wasn't harsh. I'd pick up more of these
