The highly rated Partagas Black Label cigar is a very dark, attractive cigar, yet dont let that fool you as it is also as creamy and smooth a smoke as you will ever taste in a Maduro. In order to create Partagas Black Label, Daniel Nuez and his colleagues spent 10 years perfecting the Medio Tempo wrapper and the La Vega Especial binder. Cuban-seed Medio Tempo wrappers are darker, heavier and richer than other wrappers because they are harvested only after they have been allowed to age on their plants 50% longer than other wrapper leaves. These tobaccos and a larger ring gauge translate into a richer, fuller-bodied flavor.

The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.

Dominican Republic
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.

Sully Under specifications it says; "Under specifications it says; "SINGLE PACKAGING Cellophane". But the photo is a single tube. Is still tubes or have they changed it to cellophane?

Mark Notaro Is this the box & cigar bands I will recieve if I order ?? At some point partagas added red accents to the bands and kept the same box. This makes it hard to know if I am puurchasing those bands when buying a sealed box. Even if you have 20 loose Gigantes that you can put in that box I would most likely make a purchase Also let me know if you have any other sizes with the cigar band you are displaying for this listing

Mark Notaro Partagas black label changed there original ring label / logo twice over the past few years , I see you have all three pictured for various sizes. I am looking for there first deviation from the original lable, the ring logo you have pictured for the bravo 4.5x54 & the 5.25x54, Black & gold print w/o the red.. Is what you are picturing what I will receive if I order either of those sizes. If not are any of the other sizes you have pictured with the newer black & gold label avaiilablle... Jamie Kerry I too agree the two different sticks with the different wrappers taste different. Neptune cigar says they are the same blend and they very well could be. I do know that proper humidification and age will drastically advance a bold cigars profile.

I really wanted to have nice things to say about these. I love the brand and have really enjoyed some of their other cigars. I’ve tried smoking through about 7 or 8 of these so far and every single one has been extremely obstructed and impossible to draw through. Having to pull very hard to get smoke making me light headed and causing the smoke to be hot ruins any chance and enjoying the cigar. Each time I tried a new one I would try giving the benefit of the doubt that it was just a bad roll, but so far every one I’ve tried has been impossible to smoke.

I tried the cigar out of Recommendation from dry Creek wrangler school. This cigar is right up my alley, and the kind of cigar that I love. Sometimes, when you are smoking a stick, something may come up where you have to stop. So I stopped and came back to the cigar later to see how it would hold up. I lit the cigar back up and it did not lose any integrity whatsoever. All the same flavors came right back, and nothing was spoiled. Nine out of 10, the cigar will be ruined. The second time I smoked another one, I had to relight it a few times, but the flavor never changed. It was consistent and delicious all the way to the nub. This cigar has impressed me the most in my journey . Will most certainly be buying a box.

Despite being one of the highest selling and most recognizable brands in the cigar world, I have yet until today experienced the delight of smoking a Partagas cigar. For a long time I have been admiring this cigar from a distance until today where I decided to give the Partagas Black Label Magnifico a try. I have always loved how pretty this cigar looks from the sleek black leathery USA Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, which is particularly the type of wrapper I prefer, to the solid construction I could already tell I was in for a good time before striking a match to it. The cold draw was reminiscent of cedar, dried oranges and dark chocolate. One thing I did not expect from this cigar was the spiciness of it. Honestly I was looking for more of a smoother cigar but this spice was still tame enough for a guy like me who doesn’t typically enjoy spicy cigars. Even though spice is a strong note through the first half of this cigar as you keep on puffing you will be quite surprised how creamy this cigar actually is, I was getting notes of dark chocolate, espresso, black licorice and leather. The further you go the flavors become more pronounced and the spice becomes muted almost all together resulting in a smoother experience than I was expecting. From this cigar expect a lot of billowing thick smoke, I definitely recommend eating a full meal before smoking this one. This works perfectly as an after dinner cigar, I could see this going down really well after a nice 8 oz grilled steak . After all the hype I have heard from customers and coworkers, I can finally join the parade of other aficionados who have nothing but high praise for this cigar. If you can get around some of the spiciness of it, I think all in all this is a very rewarding experience for fans of bold, full body, but also smooth cigars and a worthy addition to anyone’s regular humidor rotation.

I love these sticks. It is a love hate relationship though. I have been smoking cigars for a decent amount of time and am very familiar with how to properly light and humidify cigars. These are probably my great go to budget cigars and actually when I can, I prefer Padron 4000. I have never ever had a draw or burn issue with those cigars and I love the flavor profile. Partagas is no Padron but it is a decent budget cigar that is a fav so I order them a lot. Partagas Black Label boxes will consistently have a 20 to 30 % loss of decent smoke due to burn and draw issues. It is irritating but I chock it up to the budget price of the cigar and the speed at which the Buncharrow's role the sticks to keep the profit margins. That's my take on that. Neptune Cigars website was easy to navigate and easier to process through payment. Shipping was absolutely amazing. I chose to not forego funds that could be spent on smokes to pay for shipping so I expected an arrival with processing in 7 to 10 business days. Man was I surprised when I got my package on Friday when I ordered them later in the day on Tuesday the same week. During these stressed times I was amazed the staff were diligently smashing my original expectations. I will be ordering from Neptune in the future.

This cigar surprised me. I wasn’t expecting the slight sweetness. It wasn’t a sweetness you get with an infused cigar but natural sweetness that’s just right. This stick had it all. A great flavor, good draw, and a nearly perfect burn. Once I lit it I didn’t have to baby sit it. No touches on retouching. I don’t usually smoke full-bodied cigars but I guess I do now!

I don’t usually smoke such a strong cigar in the morning without a cup of strong coffee to match it but I was lazy this morning so it was just the cigar. Just about everything was excellent especially the construction and the burn. It was consistently alight the entire time with zero touch ups and a nice initial “stack o’ dimes” ash. The draw was nicely tight that allowed the flavors to build well. The taste was a rich combination of dark chocolate and roasted nuts with a tiny coffee kicker that lasted from front to back. Super smooth with dense, tasty smoke that lazily drifted after exhaling. I would definitely buy this again.

I tried my first one last month and have already reordered twice. I'm a 40+ year cigar smoker abd used to a milder cigar but as I smoked more of the Black Label the greater the appreciation I had for its robust flavor. I really enjoy this cigar very much.

Starts out fast with a huge pepper blast like chewing on whole peppercorn - I thought maybe I wasn't man enough to handle it. Pepper dissipated as fast as it started and glad I'm hung in there. Awesome full bodied great tasting smoke, good burn and a nice tight grey ash that reminded me of the outside paper of a hornets nest. Definitely will buy more and highly recommend!
