Perdomo Habano Corojo

This cigar is made with tobacco from three different regions in Nicaragua (all grown by the Perdomo family). Its Corojo wrapper has a lovely reddish brown shade. Creamy and sweet, the earthy and peppery tones of this medium to full bodied cigar will satisfy even the most veteran smokers.

About: Perdomo Habano Corojo Torpedo 6"1/2 * 54
Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Medium to full bodied, crisp flavors of cedar, leather, nutmeg and spice. There was a hint of natural sweetness in the first third and right about at the band, the spice really kicked in. This was a beautifully constructed cigar! The draw was just right, the burn wasn't perfect but it wasn't problematic, and the ash held on all the way past the band point. Yes, I almost smoked this down to a nub before the first ash fell. Pairing notes: Try complimenting this cigar with a Dark and Stormy. Build in a rocks glass: One oz. simple syrup with 1/4 oz. lime juice. Gently stir in four oz. of your favorite ginger beer, add ice, and then gently float over the back of a spoon two oz. spiced black rum onto the surface. Garnish with a lime wedge and a straw.

A truly amazing cigar. It has a great appearance and draw. It starts off nice and creamy and ends with pepper and leather...BANG! Great finish. I give it a southern Hells Yeah!!

hard to rate an entire sampler the same. Champagnes are good in all ways. Corojos good too. Noir too strong for me. Lot 23 was poor on draw, burn, and taste.

Great médium cigar. Little spiced. Great value. Burn and draw very well.

I liked this cigar, but prefer the Perdomo Grand Cru 2006, Natural 5x60.
