On occasion Padron manufactures a special release to commemorate a significant family date or event. Their 2009 release, the 45 Years Family Reserve, landed the top spot on Cigar Aficionado's 2009 Cigar of the Year. The Family Reserve will consist of a series of 6 cigars with one size to be launched each year until Padron's 50th anniversary in 2014.

This is a great cigar and worth every bite $26. The Padron Family really did out do themselves with this cigar. This isn't a everyday cigar, but for that special day.

Was able to aford this cigar one time after a bonus at work, only purchaed two. I smoked one and will save one in my humi. Best cigar i have ever smoked.

I was fortunate enough to recieve a couple of these as a gift. They are very pricey; however, if you can afford them this smoke is well worth while. It deserves its rating for sure. Smooth, Smooth, Smooth!!!
