Kentucky Fire Cured

Drew Estate has blended a cigar that is unique in every way. Using Kentucky Fired Cured tobacco, traditionally used for chewing or pipe tobacco, Drew Estate's Kentucky Fire Cured has a distinct "barbecue" aroma that comes from the hickory, maple, and oak wood used for fire in the curing barns. For 5 years Drew Estate has worked with this never-before-been-used-for-cigars tobacco to ensure a balanced blend with Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Esteli.

I had been looking forward to smoking this cigar since I heard about it early last year. I was somewhat disappointed because the fire cured wrapper overwhelmed all the other flavors that I enjoy in the MUWAT line. It is a great cigar, but it isn't for me.
